Charlotte Jones was an educator and artist.  She believed that advanced education brought opportunity for personal growth, financial security, and social change for individuals, communities, and the world.  She had no children of her own, but wanted to leave a legacy of opportunity through sharing of funds for this scholarship, knowing that she could positively impact the world in this way, long after her passing.
